Call 911 if you or someone you know is experiencing a behavioral health crisis. A CIT officer or mobile crisis can be requested if mental-health related.
A person can also be taken to a local emergency room if experiencing a mental health crisis. UNC Hospital is recommended for the Chapel Hill area, including for those under the ages of 18.
Triangle Springs Hospital in Raleigh has a 24/7 phone line and can take last minute walk-in appointments for further evaluation of higher-level mental health services (i.e. PHP or inpatient).
